Download and install the SFTP Windows client on your PC.
Run the desktop app and select “FTP & SFTP” in the window of connections to mount SFTP.
Fill in the details mentioned below in the next window:
- Connection name and method (SFTP)
- Server address
- Port number
- Username and password (or public key)
Navigate to “Mode” and choose between active or passive.
Set the remote path, i.e. the destination folder where your files will be uploaded. Leaving it blank will upload the files to the default folder associated with your SFTP account.
Click on “Mount” and view the SFTP server showing up as a drive in your File Explorer.
