Why users prefer CloudMounter
Keychain support
CloudMounter does not store your login information; privacy is our top priority. Your credentials are locked in macOS Keychain and sent over encrypted channels.
Built into Finder
Manage files directly within the native macOS file manager. The app lets you map cloud accounts and remote servers, making them appear as regular folders in Finder.
Extensive upgrades
We are dedicated to improving CloudMounter by adding new features and connections, enhancing existing ones, and implementing the latest standards to meet your needs.
Mount the S3 bucket as a drive with CloudMounter
Easily connect your S3 storage and access it through Finder by following these steps:
Download and install the desktop app on your computer.
2
Launch the app and select the “Amazon S3” icon from the connections menu.
3
In the window that appears, fill in the connection details. Click the “Mount” button.
4
Now you can see your S3 buckets as a new drive in Finder.
Client-side encryption for all S3 data
Our software encrypts files before uploading and is accessible only via your CloudMounter app. It uses strong encryption to safeguard your data from unauthorized access and enhance file security.
With CloudMounter, you just need to provide your credentials and configurations to connect; after that, you will have access to your S3 bucket right from Finder. Alternative methods require using AWS Management Console online, which is much more complicated and requires more skills.
Amazon S3 supports up to 10,000 buckets per AWS account. However, you can request a service limit increase to up to 1,000,000 buckets if needed. The great plus of CloudMounter is this desktop app can work with them all.
Thanks to our S3 client for Mac, your Amazon account will be immediately mounted as a disk in Finder. You are not limited to the number of added connections. Now you can manage your online files as if they were stored in a local folder.
Yes, CloudMounter supports connections to a variety of popular cloud storage services and remote servers, allowing you to transfer data between Amazon S3 and any supported service on your macOS.
